Richard Lloyd

Richard specialises in investment work but also deals with a wide range of commercial property matters for developers, investors, occupiers and funders.

He trained and spent his first few years of post qualification practice at Gouldens (now Jones Day) where he acted for clients including Pillar Property, Arlington and Ashtenne before moving to SJ Berwin where his clients included British Land and AXA Real Estate. He joined Pinsent Masons in December 2013. Richard’s work includes acting on transactions involving complex structures, investment, development and forward funding projects and joint venture and financing arrangements. His experience crosses sectors such as residential and later living developments as well as offices, logistics, industrial and retail premises.

Richard’s relevant experience includes:

• Continuing to advise Wilky on real estate matters relating to the Gatwick Green project.
• Advising AXA Real Estate‘s logistics funds, including schemes at Thorn Turn, Dunstable and Nuneaton.
• Representing Mayfair International on investment sales and purchases and asset management matters.
• Acting for RDI REIT on investment transactions, portfolio and estate management work (including the acquisition, development and letting of two logistics units in Bicester).
• Leading the Pinsent Masons team acting for funds managed by Royal London Asset Management in the industrial and alternatives sectors.
